is Elon Musk’s version of a , which is a transport system based on trains or capsules which travel at high speed inside a large vacuum tube.

The world is transforming, it is changing quicker than our creative energy. Hardly few years back, we realized that there were four methods of transportation. At that point abruptly in 2012 Elon Musk came up with a plan to again change the regular exhausting routine stuff. He made a venture for reevaluating the method of traveler development and cargo transportation. Subsequently, the fifth method of transportation – Hyperloop appeared and the organization was named Hyperloop-One. (Damn! the name give goosebumps).

What is a Hyperloop?
Hyperloop is a new way to move people and things at airline speeds for the price of a bus ticket. It’s on-demand, energy-efficient and safe. Think broadband for transportation.
We use a custom electric motor to accelerate and decelerate a levitated pod through a low-pressure tube. The vehicle will glide silently for miles with no turbulence.

Hyperloop One – Company
The concept is simple but pretty futuristic and spell-bounding. One can easily understand it by imagining a long tube which will be at low pressure and a pod which will be the carrier. Comparing it to the conventional railways, the laid network of rails represents the “long tube” and the “pods” are the actual trains.
In the above picture, the red capsule part is the “pod” whereas the blue part is the “low pressure tube”.
Technology behind Hyperloop
Imagine you have a syringe in your hand. A syringe basically consists of a container in which one end has a needle and the other end has a plunger.
So when you start pushing the plunger with some force ,the plunger moves inside the container in the forward direction. As this is done air gets collected on the front side of the plunger because the plunger and the walls of the syringe container are so close together that the air cannot move anywhere else but the front. And this air that gets collected on the front of the plunger will ultimately be released through the needle.
Now consider the syringe container to be a tube and the plunger to be the pod which carries the people. But unlike the syringe container the tube is closed on both the sides . So initially the pod is pushed using Tesla’s electric motor . As there is no gap between the pod and walls of the tube, injection of air takes place,which means air gets collected on the front of the pod . As I have mentioned earlier the tube is closed on both sides . So what happens to the air that gets collected on the front?. Well this is where the magic happens. There is a huge inlet in the front that sucks in the air and gives it to the back of the train which ultimately increases the propulsion of the train. Hence the motors necessarily do not run all the time. They are used only periodically and the whole thing is powered using solar panelsSo on the whole this “Hyperloop” concept eliminates the use of oil and gas and is environmental friendly.
